I usually make a huge hype and drag my birthday out for days and days on end... this year to be completely honest - I FORGOT. Yes, I forgot my birthday. I didn't realize it was coming up until about a week and a few days prior to it. Which is rare bc I usually plan it out weeks in advance. My apologies for the last minute scramble and awkward scheduling of events... I think working "on the fly" is not my forte but I tried...
The day before - I ended my usual Friday work madness and headed out to Citizen for a light and mellow HH with some fun coworkers. Even my little brother stopped by to grab a bite. I LOVE Citizen - it's become one of those "go to places" on my list. Cheap drinks, good food, simple menu, awesome aesthetics, and good company. *cheers*
Afterwards I trekked to Kirkland to meet up with the Friday Dinner Crew - amazing dinner as always. We hit up BeachHouse Bar and Grill. Watched the sunset, laugh my ass off, and grubbed down on some tasty smores NOM! Perfect pre-birthday celebrations.
