I got to see Heather and Joeys new place, meet baby Ayumi for the first time, toast to a fabulous year, exchange gifts, eat, and recap with each other.
Brunch was amazing - I couldn't help but sit back for a second and we were all around the dining room table laughing and chatting... we've all gone through so much transformation and growth since we first met, many years ago. It was an "adult" scene when I looked at all of us today. What an amazing transition lol. That moment of clarity was broken by the smell of an apple pie shot and a few hurried toasts!
