149. Serendipitous Sway

ser·en·dip·i·ty   /ˌsɛrənˈdɪpɪti/ [ser-uhn-dip-i-tee]
1. an aptitude for making desirable discoveries by accident.
2. good fortune; luck: the serendipity of getting the first job she applied for.

I'd like to think that meeting JJ was a serendipitous event.  Thus the title of this entry...

Insert intro to JJ -  This is the mini portion where I get to divert from my trip and rave about my good friend JJ.  He's been mentioned a few times since Project Sway started.  Since first meeting him back in March - JJ has become a very close friend to me.  I would say he falls into the category of 'good peoples'.  He is always fair in his advice, easy to laugh with/at (it goes both ways), my bb yoda, giving, smart, hard working, my true stummy twin all day every day, an all around nice guy... he's single too ladies *ahem*  You'll see more of him on Project Sway, I promise.

3rd leg started out with a scenic drive through old dt Vegas and it's many side streets en route to the outlets.  Amazingly, I purchased nothing!  Quick stop off at the crib so I could scrub down and change and drool over some crazy 'Man vs Food' episodes.  Quickly we scrambled to Ichiza *nom* and had some mass good eats and great convo.  Suggested the honey toast *drools* to our neighbor table before we headed out to the Strip.  We trekked through Ceasers Palace to 'Serendipity 3' where JJ finally tried the Frozen Hot Chocolate goodness.  After dumping my humongo cup of coffee into the rest of the hot chocolate we had the best drink ever!  I had high hopes for spending a crazy night out stuffing my face and going nuts in Vegas.  But 3 cups of coffee later + the hot weather + the lack of sleep prior = slow and sleepy.  Thinking it was just a pit stop, we headed back to watch Sportscenter and ended up lounging til 4 while chit chatting and playing the "do you know" game.  Perfect way to spend the last part of leg 3.

Hahaha. Serendipitous, indeed. Thanks, friend. Your words are too kind. =)

Fat Kid Fail, but it was still a great night of nothingness. lol. Great times, as always!

...slightly nervous about your promise of "more of me on Project Sway." lol.
