Another Seattle Holiday tradition... the Argosy Christmas Ship Festival - a parade of boats on the waters of the Greater Seattle area. Lead by the "Spirit of Seattle", carrying a different featured choir, the festival lasts for 25 nights touching a number of communities. I know for a fact; many people plan their holiday gatherings around the time of the Christmas Ship schedule; at least those that are fortunate enough to have a view of this wonderful site from their homes. I prefer to see it all culminate at the Grand Finale on the very last night... December 23rd at Gasworks Park. Its an amazing site to see Lake Union covered in lights from boats of all shapes and sizes. It's a tradition that makes Christmas feel like Christmas to me.
I'm glad I get to share this tradition with those near and dear and hope that they share the same awe inspired cheesy grin that I have when they experience it.
Merry Christmas Everyone...
