Yet another SYTYCD piece that I went ballistic over. My season 7 favorite Alex Wong tore up this Nappytabs hip hop routine w/ Twitch. Many of you might think - eh big deal but Alex is a principle BALLET dancer from the Miami City Ballet Company. This routine not only showed his amazing range as a dancer but his ability to embrace a new style and flex his technique. The crowd when nuts after this routine as did I.
Unfortunately the next week after this routine aired, Alex suffered a horrible injury (snapped his right Achilles tendon - owwwwwwwwwww) and had to leave the show for recovery. Clearly he was the judges favorite and he set an amazingly high bar for the rest of the male dancers to reach. Bravo Alex - you were my favorite!
